Information/Education Effort on Stormwater Management and Urban Nonpoint Source Control

FTN prepared a series of Fact Sheets for the US Environmental Protection Agency on the use of wetlands in stormwater management, the impacts of changes in hydrology due to urbanization, and integrated stream management programs to reduce impacts on aquatic habitats. A literature review was conducted using a DIALOG computer search and telephone contacts were made to discuss and obtain current information that was integrated with FTN's experience. The documents represent the State of Science and discussed the topic areas in terms of problems, causes and solutions. Summaries of case studies were provided.
