Our firm assisted an industry located in Little Rock with the relocation of existing utilities in support of a large building project. FTN prepared construction drawings and bid documents for the relocation of an existing Central Arkansas Water (CAW) 16-inch water line.
The project consisted of approximately 1,780 linear feet of 16‑inch-diameter ductile iron water pipe; fire hydrant assemblies; connections to an existing 16-inch water main; connections to an existing 8‑inch water main and an existing 8-inch fire protection line; and a new 4‑inch water meter assembly.
The design documents were submitted to the Arkansas Department of Health and CAW for approval. Upon approval, FTN further assisted the company with project bidding, shop drawing review, and periodic construction observation.
