FTN has partnered with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality to facilitate redevelopment of numerous Arkansas Brownfield properties and other abandoned or underutilized properties by completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Comprehensive Site Assessments (CSAs) at properties identified by ADEQ as posing a potential threat to human health and/or the environment.
FTN has prepared scopes of work, prepared CSA Work Plans for ADEQ approval, conducted field investigations, validated laboratory data, completed data evaluations, and, with the Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health, evaluated risks and long-term issues associated with redevelopment and reuse of these sites, all of which were documented in CSA reports that followed Arkansas Brownfield guidelines.
For several of these sites, Remedial Action Plans were developed for the remedial construction projects to remove the hazardous wastes identified in the CSAs.
